Oily character with a strong juniper flavour. The spirit from the Carter-Head still is more subtle with light floral and sweet fragrances derived from cucumber and rose petals essences, which give the final gin its distinctive character.
Hendricks Gin is made in a bizarre way produced from two different stills then married together using two unconventional botanicals, the Bulgarian Rosa Damascena and cucumbers. It won double gold at the San Francisco world spirit competition 2010.
